SPECIAL MEETING
Wednesday, April 20, 1988
Attending:
Dan Hormaechea, J Sproat, Max Williamson, Arthur J. Schmidt, City
Administrator and Mayor and Mrs. John J. Allen.
1. Brochure:
A draft on the private fund-raising brochure was edited and re-
viewed by the committee. The committee, after revisions, asked
that this be prepared immediately and available not later than
May 1, 1988.
Note: An interpretation of the pass issue (contained in the
brochure) was discussed. For a "10 year pass" the
committee by majority vote defines this as 10 years of play
rather than 10 consecutive years from the time of purchase.
If the purchaser receives a season pass for any particular
golf season, any use in that season will be counted as
part of the total pass agreement.
2. Updated clubhouse plans:
The committee reviewed the updated floor plans and profiles, which
were prepared with all changes the committee has previously sug-
gested. It was suggested that shower plumbing be roughed in in
each locker room. With that change, the committee approved the
plans by consensus.
3. Brown property (or cart storage and parking):
Staff reviewed the appraisal and the committee asked that this
matter be deferred to the regular meeting.
4. Superintendent:
Staff updated the committee on the selection process now underway.
Interviews will be scheduled for next week.
5. Chandler easement: ,
The committee asked staff to follow up with the city attorney on
the lack of progress in clarifying this matter.
