PURCHASE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON RUSSELL STREET, APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF
SAID PROPERTY AND RELATED RELOCATION COSTS, AND APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR FUTURE PURCHASES
ON RUSSELL STREET.
(' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
(Missouri, has heretofore instructed and authorized the Housing
uthority of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to make purchases
Hof property along and bordering Russell Street for the purposes
of right-of-way and re-locating said Russell Street, and
li WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Jefferson,
(lMissouri, pursuant to said authority, has consummated the pur
11chase of certain properties along and bordering Russell Street,

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority will, in the future,
pursuant to said authority, purchase real estate bordering
Russell Street, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Jefferson
hereby approves the purchase of the following described real
estate for the total sum of $71,500.00:
a. Part of Outlot No. 86 of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on Russell Avenue at a
point 300 feet and 11 inches northerly from the
southerly line of said Outlot and 202 feet 6 inches
easterly from the westerly line thereof; thence
southerly paral'bl with the westerly line of said
Outlot 160 feet to a private alley; thence easterly
along the alley 40 feet; thence northerly parallel
i with the westerly line of said Out-lot 160 feet
to Russell Avenue; thence westerly along Russell
I� Avenue 40 feet to the point of beginning.
b. Lots Nos. 129 and 130 of Morris' Subdivision
of the easterly part of Outlot No. 86, in the
! City of Jefferson, Missouri.

c. Lot No. 131 of Morris' Subdivision of the
east half of Outlot No. 86 of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, according to plat there-
of on file in the office of Recorder of Deeds
�! of Cole County, Missouri.
id. The easterly 5 feet of Lot No. 122 and all
of Lot No. 123 in Morris Subdivision of the
east half of Outlot No. 86 in the City of
t Jefferson, Missouri.
e. Lots No. 132, 133, 134 and 135 of Morris'
Subdivision . of the east part of Outlot No. 86
in the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Jefferson
hereby appropriates from the Capital Improvements Fund funds
necessary for the payment of the purchase price in the amount
of $71,500.00.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Jefferson
hereby appropriates from the Capital Improvements Fund the
SUM Of $ 70= X3 Z
as re-location costs in
relation and in conjunction with the properties purchased and
mentioned in Section 1, above.
I, Section 4. The City Council of the City of Jefferson
1 hereby appropriates the sum of $ 2,3 0 4. __ from
the Capital Improvements Fund to cover the costs of future
property acquisitions on Russell Street, the same to include
purchase prices paid and re-location costs in conjunction
therewith.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
