ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING
AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS ENACTED
IN ORDINANCE NO. 85089 BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED
LAND ON ROUTE 179, FROM RS-2 TO C-2 COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, it appears that the procedures set forth in
Ordinance No. 8508, relating to rezoning have in all matters been
complied with.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described real property, being
® a portion of what is known as the John Ihler Farm in the Southwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 45,
Range 12, be rezoned from RS-2 to C-2 Commercial, to wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the east right-of-way
of Route 179 and the south bank of the existing creek;
thence in a southerly direction along said right-of-way
500 feet; thence easterly perpendicular to said right-
of-way of Route 179 to the intersection of the east
property line of .sai d tract (south right-of-way of
Boonville Road) ; thence northerly along said Boonville
Road right-of-way to the south bank of the existing
creek: thence westerly along the south bank of the
existing creek to the point of beginning, said area
being more specifically defined by meets and bounds as
designated on plat attached hereto and made a part
hereof as though fully set forth herein.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
