,SAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
!j MAYOR AND THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON TO EXECUTE AN
EASEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI AUTOMOBILE DEALERS ASSOCIATION ON
�JCITY RIGHT-OF-WAY AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF INGRESS AND EGRESS
' INTO THE LOWER LEVELS OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 113 AND 117 MADISON
STREET IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
!IBE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION 1. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an easement with the Missouri
Automobile Dealers Association on public right-of-way for the
purposes of ingress and egress into the lower levels of the
properties located at 113 and 117 Madison Street, Jefferson City,
Missouri.
SECTION 2. Said easement shall read in words and figures as

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.

The City of Jefferson, Missouri , a municipal corporation,
in consideration of the mutual covenants herein contained, does
hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey to the Missouri Automobile
Dealers Association, a Missouri business corporation, 205 East
Capitol Avenue, Jefferson City, Missouri, and to its successors and
assigns, the perpetual easement for purposes of ingress and egress
into the lower levels of Grantee' s property located at 113 and 117
Madison Street, Jefferson City, Missouri, and for the construction
of an overhead covering thereon, said easement being a part of
Inlot 100 in the City of Jefferson, and described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of a private alley bisecting
Inlot 100 from west to east where it intersects the extended
line of the west wall of Grantee' s building (approximately
78 feet 2 inches north of the southwest corner of Inlot 100) ;
thence south along said west wall and parallel with Madison
Street, 16 feet; thence west and parallel with Capitol
Avenue, 4 feet; thence north and parallel with Madison Street,
16 feet; thence east, 4 feet, to the place of beginning.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said easement and rights unto the
said Missouri Automobile Dealers Association and its successors
and assigns forever.
The said Missouri Automobile Dealers Association, its
successors and assigns, hereby agree that all construction and
work done on said easement shall be done and maintained thereafter
at their sole and separate expense, and they further agree to
indemnify and hold the City of Jefferson, Missouri, harmless
from any and all liability that might arise therefrom hereafter.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
by ordinance duly passed, caused this easement to be executed this

Now on this 17th day of December, 1975, before me personally
appeared James L. Barry, to me personally known, who by me being
duly sworn, did say that he is the Mayor of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri; that the seal affixed to the foregoing Easement is the
official seal of said City; that said easement was signed and sealed
in behalf of said City by authority of its City Council; and the
said James L. Barry acknowledged said instrument to be the free
act and deed of said City.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed my official seal the day and year first above written.
