Minutes of Public Hearing
Monday, December 4th, 2023 j``°�T` 'E ���•.
The Brewster Old King's Highway Regional Historic District Committee, acting under the Massachusetts
General Laws, Chapter 470, Acts of 1973 as amended, came to order at 7:00 pm in person and being
recorded at the Brewster Town Hall. Committee members present were Jim Trabulsie (Chairperson),
George Carey and Carol Appleton. The Chairman, Jim Trabulsie determined a quorum.
SCHEDULED APPLICATIONS
H-23-203 New Addition
Torr Olsen, 60 Pebble Path Lane, Map 6 Lot 29
• Bill Daniels was at the meeting representing the homeowner.
• Carol asked if there were going to be stud pockets between the double windows and Daniel said
that yes, there were going to be.
• Jim asked if there were any abutters present, but there were none.
• Carol made a motion to approve the application as presented and George seconded. After
voting, the application was unanimously approved.
H-23-249 Solar Panels
Peter Jelinek, 74 Brier Lane, Map 48 Lot 56
• David Slesinger, with E2 Solar was at the meeting representing the homeowner.
• David explained that this was an expansion of the existing solar array.
• There were no abutters present at the meeting.
• George made a motion to approve the application as presented. Carol seconded the motion and
after voting, the application was approved 3 to 0.
H-23-258 Windows and Doors Replacement
Paul Probolus, 67 Susan Lane, Map 55 Lot 15
• Michelle Lincoln with George Davis Inc was at the meeting representing the homeowner.
• Jim asked Michelle to drop off the cut sheets for the windows for the record because the
committee hadn't received them, and she agreed to it.
• There were no abutters present at the meeting.
• Carol made a motion to approve the application as presented and George seconded. After
voting, the application was unanimously approved.
H-23-263 New Addition
Shadi Daher, 25 Ellis Landing, Map 90 Lot 101
• Eric Tolley was at the meeting representing the homeowner.
• Eric told the committee that the addition was going to be a bedroom and bathroom on the left
side of the house with 6 over 6 windows to match the rest of the building.

• George made a motion to approve the application as presented and Carol seconded. After
voting, H-23-263 was approved.
H-23-270 New Sign
Howard Hayes, 2404 Main Street, Map 78 Lot 118
• Julie Tammi was at the meeting representing the homeowner.
• Carol asked if the signed was to be printed or painted, Julie explained that they were going to be
vinyl letters with matte finish with either a black or white bracket.
• There were no abutters present at the meeting.
• Carol made a motion to approve the application as amended to include a white bracket for the
sign and George seconded the motion. After voting, the application was approved as amended 3
to 0.
H-23-271 New Porch
Robert Michaels, 36 Crosby Lane, Map 114 Lot 44
• Tim Gainey, the contractor, was at the meeting representing the homeowner.
• Tim mentioned that the porch was not going to be visible, and they were going to paint the
shingles white to match the rest of the house.
• There were no abutters present at the meeting.
• George said that despite the form B, he was ok with the project because it was at the back of
the house.
• Carol made a motion to approve the application as presented. George seconded the motion and
after voting, the application was unanimously approved.

• November 6th, 2023
o Carol made a motion to approve the November 6th meeting minutes as presented.
Geroge seconded the motion; a vote was taken, and the November 6th meeting minutes
were approved unanimously.

• January 8th, 2024 at 7pm

• Carol made a motion to adjourn. George seconded the motion; a vote was taken, and the
Committee voted unanimously to adjourn.
