BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS :
i` SECTION 1. Whereas , it was heretofore found and declared
I� by the City Council , by its resolution, passed and approved on
(� November 17 , 1975 , necessary to improve the above described
I roadways in the City of Jefferson , Missouri , by curbing and

guttering wit h p ort a nd cement co ncrete , and it appearing to
f the City Council that said resolution has been duly published
' according to the law for seven (7) consecutive insertions ; in
the Post Tribune , a daily newspaper , printed and published in
�! the City of Jefferson, Missouri , and a majority of the resident
i� owners of property along said described roadways liable for the
costs of said improvement , and who own a majority of the front
�I feet on said described roadways intended to be improved , have
not filed with the City Clerk a protest against said contemplated
improvement.
SECTION 2 . That the said above described roadways , in
accordance with the :plans and specifications submitted by the
'q Director of Public Works and filed in the office of the City
Clerk, and that a portion of the total cost of the work aforesaid ,
amounting to $5 . 00 per front foot , shall be charged and levied as
� a special assessment against the real estate abutting and fronting
I on said contemplated improvement , and special tax bills shall be
issued therefore, as provided in the City Charter, and in Sections'
1826 , 827 , 828 , 829 and 767 of Chapter 10 of the Revised Ordinances

of the City of Jefferson , Missouri , 1956 , and of the Revised
Statutes of the State of Missouri , 1969 , and amendments thereto.
SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works is hereby in-
structed to advertise for bids for this improvement.
SECTION 4 . This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
