Notice of Public Hearings
2024 Session
Proposed Ordinance Nos.1 and 2
On January 17, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold
hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearings on Proposed Ordinance No. 1, Barnstable County
Fiscal Year 2025 Capital Budget and; Proposed Ordinance No. 2, Authorizing transfers in the
amount of $225,000 within the County's fiscal year 2024 operating budget, as enacted in
Ordinance No. 2023-03, for salaries and associated Medicare expenses aligned with the
comprehensive compensation study completed in fiscal year 2023 and reflected within the
fiscal year 2024 operating budget. The public hearings will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn
Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street - Route
6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone
wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text of the
proposed ordinances has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in
Barnstable County. It is also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website.
Instructions on accessing the public hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates
Business Calendar for January 17, 2024 located at htti2s:/lwww.capecod.,govlcounty-
governmentimeeting-center!. Written comments can also be emailed to
owen.fletcher@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearing. The County will
also stream the public hearing and Assembly meeting live streamed on the County YouTube
channel at https://www.youtube.com/t/Barnstab[eCountyVideo.
