MINUTES:
Without corrections or additions, the minutes of the April 20 meeting
were approved.
PROMOTIONAL BROCHURE:
The Committee reviewed the brochure information and layout. A motion
made by Max Williamson, seconded by Jackie Sproat was to recommend
authorizing purchase of the brochures with payment from the Golf
Course Capital fund. The brochure intends to promote private fund-
raising efforts for the new clubhouse and is an investment in this
project. Motion carried.
WHISPERING FOREST:
The Committee reviewed Mr. Udell's letter regarding purchase of the
Stringer property by Mr. Whiteman. The committee asked staff to
further discuss alternatives to development of the driving range with
the developer.
CLUBHOUSE PLANS:
Andy Laidlaw presented more detailed plans including a site
cross-section, floor plans and roof plans. Questions
insurability with basement cart storage, a fireplace and other
details were deferred and the plans to date reflect the committee's
program to date.

LAND ACQUISITION:
After reviewing the appraisal, the Committee recommends that the City
Council direct staff to negotiate for purchase of the subject parcel.
Motion by Medley, seconded by Collins, unanimously approved.
CONTRACT ADJUSTMENTS:
Mr. Drips asked for consideration of his contract obligation based
upon:

NEW BUSINESS:
1. Mrs. Collins inquired abut rule changes on drainage ditches.
After discussion, no changes were recommended.
2. Long term pass: If the new clubhouse were not to be built, yet
passes purchased, the committee determined that the pass funds
should be held in trust until construction. If used for 1 or 2
seasons, a season pass fee will be deducted and the balance
returned to the contributor.
Without further business, the meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.
