Just left the site where I met with Phil, the Owner, and Demetre, the Contractor.
I had not previously had access to the rear of the property. Demetre's intent is to use the staggered board on
board wooden fence as restriction of the low amount of increased runoff. Additionally, he discussed the break
point was clearly further to the rear than shown on the permit,
I concur with Demetre and all of my comments have now been addressed, contingent on his concurrence that
any above record of our meeting.
On a separate note, the field work is not in accordance with the permit.
1) The fence on the north side of this lot is being partially removed to allow the pool to be delivered as
Demetre advised he could not get the pool through the side yard. Demetre advised the real estate agent had told
him it was alright. I defer to the City on this matter. Fm not aware of real estate agents having such rights, but
that's not my purview. It has been my experience that the City has required written documentation from such
owners or their agents in the past,
2) Demetre advised he'd be expanding the sediment barrier to go down later today beyond the limits of that
shown.
It's my opinion that such deviations from permit exhibits are not necessary and that the permit exhibits should
more closely represent the construction activities.
Attached is my invoice. Please advise if you need further assistance in this matter.

Subject: Re:
In response to the resubmittal to the City three (3) business days ago, I
offer the following response:
1) The revision to the sheet indicates that there will be a V dropoff from
the pool's side walkway on the north side to the adjacent ground. While
such a dropoff is not desirable, this addresses my concern regarding side
yard drainage.
2) The statement of stormwater storage is acceptable.
3) This comment has not been clearly addressed. Further detail on the
permeable pavers, the joint areas and widths and the bedding immediately
beneath the pavers may clarify this.
The existing ground should absorb 70-80%, maybe more, of the existing
runoff during a 25-year storm. The 7" storage holds 7/8ths of the 8"
precipitation during such an event, or 88%. If additional stormwater
management is not provided, the pavers would need to be permeable
enough to absorb runoff at the same rate as the existing mulched ground
cover.
The reason for this concern is that runoff from this lot is shown to flow
west towards it rear and onto the property of others. It's my understanding
that increased runoff onto the property of others is not allowed without the
permission of that neighboring property Owner.
Please advise of how I may assist in quickly resolving this matter.

After visiting the site and reviewing the exhibits sent to me, loffer the
following comments:
1) The Erosion Control Plan shows the Sdl-Sediment Barrier a couple of
feet inside the area
of the proposed pavers shown on other sheets. While installation needs to
be outside of the
area of the pavers, it is preferred there be NO disturbance within 4' of the
side property line
to assure that existing drainage patterns are not blocked.
2) On one sheet, there is information given that the 7" of freeboard in the
I Vx234 " pool will
collect over 1,5010 gallons of rain water. Standard procedure is to
quantify stormwater storage
in cubic feet. 1,500 gallons x lcf/7.48gal — 200.53 F. II' 23.33'x0.58'
148.85cf which is
1,113.33 gallons. This statement needs correction.
