AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANC
NO. 7978 RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS BY ADDING A NEW PROVISION RELATI G
TO FIRE HYDRANTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7978, "Subdivisions of the Cit
of Jefferson, Missouri" is hereby amended by adding a new subsection
numbered 8. 8 to read as follows:
8. 8 The developer shall be required to provide
or .cause to be provided adequate fire hy-
drants for fire protection in the subdivision.
Fire hydrants shall be placed in intervals of
not more than 600 feet along all subdivision
streets and shall be installed at the same
time as the water mains are installed.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
