ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT
WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF MISSOURI FOR CONSTRUCTION PUR
POSES IN PART OF LOT 9 IN JONES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
BEIIT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an easement with the State High-
way Commission of Missouri on part of Lot 9 in Jones Addition to t e
City of Jefferson, Missouri, for temporary construction purposes.
Section 2. Said easement shall read in words and figures as
follows:

EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, executed on this 1st day of Novenb er.
19 76 by and between
the City of Jefferson, a Municipal Corporatinn,
of the County of Cole and State of Missouri Grantors,
and the State of Missouri, for the use of the State Highway Commission of
Missouri of Jefferson City, Missouri, Grantee,
WITNESSETH that the Grantors herein, in consideration of the
sum of One (81-0n) DOLLARS,
to them paid by Grantee, the receipt of which 'is hereby acknowledged,
do by these presents grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto Grantee the
following described interest in real property in the County of Cole
and State of Missouri, to-wit:
An easement in part of Lot 9 in Jones Addition to the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, described as follows:
®temporary construction easement over strips of land described as
follows: A strip of land seven feet wide lying on the left or south
side of, parallel to and adjoining the left or south right of way line
of Business Route 50, extending in a westerly direction from the east
line of said Lot 9 for a distance of 115 feet; thence a strip of land
45 feet wide to the west line of said Lot 9, containing 1792 square feet.
All rights of Grantee in said construction easement to forever cease
upon completion of the contemplated improvement of. the highway.
The land above described is ' shown by a copy of the plans for said high-
way on file with the Clerk of the County Court of Cole County, Missouri.
