AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT
WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION OF MISSOURI FOR CONSTRUCTION PUR-
POSES IN PART OF LOT 6 IN BLOCK 8 OF WASHINGTON PARK ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an easement with the State High-
way Commission of Missouri on part of Lot 6 in Block 8 of Washington
Park Addition to the City of.*Jdfferson, Missouri, for temporary
construction purposes.
Section 2. Said easement shall read in words and figures as
follows:

1 Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage and approval.

EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, executed on this__,_day of____ QYeplber�

ttte City- of efferson, a Municipal Corporation,
of the County of Cole and State of Missouri, Grantors,
and the State of Missouri, for the use of the State Highway Commission of
Missouri of Jefferson City, Missouri, Grantee,
WITNESSETH that the Grantors herein, in consideration of the
sum of One ($1.00) DOLIIIRS,
to them paid by Grantee, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
do 'by these presents grant, bargain, sell, and convey unto Grantee the
following described interest in real property in the County of Cole _
and State of Missouri, to-wit:
An easement in part of Lot 6 in Block 8 of Washington Park Addition to the
City of Jefferson, Missouri described as follows:
temporary construction easement over a strip of land 10 feet wide lying
n the left or south side of, parallel to and adjoining the left or south
right of way litb* of Business Route 50 from the east line of said Lot 6
to the west line of said Lot 6, containing 465 square feet. All rights
of Grantee in said construction easement to forever cease upon completion
of the contemplated improvement of the highway.
The land above described is shown by a copy of the plans for said
highway on file with the Clerk of the County Court of Cole County,
Missouri.
