THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 19th day of _May ,
2005, and referred to as Contract No. 79-2005 by and between the City of Richmond,
Indiana, a municipal corporation acting by and through its Board of Public Works and
Safety (hereinafter referred to as the "City") and Public-Finance.com, Inc., 11603
Shelbyville Road, Suite 10, Middletown, KY 40243 (hereinafter referred to as the
"Contractor").
WHEREAS, The Richmond Street Department needed to obtain a new vehicle
and was able to pay a down payment of $50,000 for said vehicle; and
WHEREAS, Contractor is willing to provide a Lease/Purchase Agreement to the
City so that the remainder of the purchase price can be paid over time.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the following including the above stated
recitals, the parties agree as follows:
1. Contractor shall provide City with a Master Equipment Lease/Purchase
Agreement set forth within Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
2. Contractor shall be paid a sum not to exceed the rates described on the
attached Exhibit "A" specifically Contractor shall be paid the sum of
Twenty -Five Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty -One Dollars and Forty -
One Cents ($25,821.41) annually for two years. The first such payment
shall occur on May 12, 2006 and the second and final payment shall occur
on May 12, 2007.
3. Any person executing this Agreement in a representative capacity hereby
warrants that he has been duly authorized by his principal to execute this
document.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement at Richmond,
Indiana, as of the day and year first written above, although signatures may be affixed on
different dates.
