�) AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ROADWAYS OF
'I TOMLEE ROAD (FROM SOUTH TEN MILE DRIVE TO KENBORG HILLS ROAD)
AND KENBORG HILLS ROAD (FROM TOMLEE ROAD TO THE DEAD END EAST)
IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , BY CURBING AND GUTTERING
WITH PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE.
±� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . Whereas , it was heretofore found and de-
clared by the City Council , by its resolution, passed and
li approved on February 21 , 1977 , necessary to improve the
roadways of Tomlee Road (from South Ten Mile Drive to Kenborg
H ills Road) and Kenborg Hills R oad (from T oml ee Road to the
{� dead end east) in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , by curbing
® i) and guttering with portland cement concrete , and it appearing
to the City Council that said resolution has been duly pub-
1 lished according to the law for seven (7) consecutive in-
sertions ., in the Post Tribune , a daily newspaper , printed and
published in the City of Jefferson, Missouri , and a majority
of the resident owners of property along said sections of
Tomlee Road (from South Ten Mile Drive to Kenborg Hills Road)
and Kenborg Hills Road (from Tomlee Road to the dead end east)
liable for the costs of' said improvement, and who own a
majority of the front feet on said Tomlee Road (from South
iiTen Mile Drive to Kenborg Hills Road) and Kenborg Hills Road
I� (from Tomlee Road to the dead end east) intended to be im-
proved, have not filed with the City Clerk a protest against
�I said contemplated improvement.
I� SECTION 2 . That the said roads of Tomlee Road (from South
Ten Mile Drive to Kenborg Hills Road) and Kenborg Hills Road
(from Tomlee Road to the dead end east) , in accordance with
!! the plans and specifications submitted by the Director of
Public Works and filed in the office of the City Clerk, and
that the total cost of the work aforesaid shall be charged
jand levied as a special assessment against the real estate
li abutting and fronting on said contemplated improvement , and
special tax bills shall be issued therefore, as provided in
the City Charter , and in Sections 826, 827 , 828 , 829 and
767 of Chapter 10 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of
(I) Jefferson , Missouri , 1956 , and of the Revised Statutes of the
I� State of Missouri , 1959 , and amendments thereto.
SECTION 3. The Director of Public Works is hereby in-
structed to advertise for bids for this improvement.

force from and after its passage and approval.
