ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE A PART OF FREDRICKS LANE, IN LANDWEHR
SHILLS SUBDIVISION, SECTION # ; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR ON BEHALF OF THE CITY TO MAKE, EXECUTE AND DELIVER TO THE
PRESENT ADJOINING OWNERS ALL PROPER AND SUFFICIENT WRITINGS,
DEEDS OR INSTRUMENTS TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF
THIS ORDINANCE .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . It is hereby declared that the City Council of
the City of Jefferson , Missouri , deems it necessary and expedient f
to vacate and discontinue: I
A part of Fredericks Lane of Landwelr Hills Subdivision ,
Section 3 , per plat of record in Plat Book 7, pages 50 and 51 ,
and replat of record in Plat Book 7, pages 74 and 75 , Cole
County Recorder' s Office , in the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,
and more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot No . 82 of said Land-
wehr Hills Subdivision, Section 3 ; thence North 77 degrees
30 minutes west along the north line of said Landwehr Hills
Subdivision, Section 3, 62 . 29 feet to the northeast corner
of Lot No . 135 of said Landwehr Hills Subdivision, Section 3;
thence South 5 degrees 27 minutes east along the east lines
of Lots Nos . 135 and 134 of said Landwehr Hills Subdivision,
Section 3 , 285 .92 feet to the southeast corner of said Lot No .
134 ; thence southeasterly in a direct line to a point on the
west line of Lot No . 80 of said Landwehr Hills Subdivision,
Section 3 , lying 60 feet north of the southwest corner of
said Lot No . 80; thence North 5 degrees 27 minutes west along
the west lines of Lots Nos . 80 , 81 , and 82 of said Landwehr
Hills Subdivision, Section 3 , 271 . 87 feet to the point of
beginning.
Section 2 . The aforesaid part of Fredericks Lane , in Landwehr
Hills Subdivision, Section 3 , in the City of Jefferson is hereby
forever vacated and discontinued as a public thoroughfare and the
right of reversion of such portion of said street in the adjoining
and abutting owner and owners as is provided by the Statutes of
the State of Missouri is hereby fully confirmed, ratified and ap-
proved. The Mayor of this City is hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver all proper and sufficient writings , deeds or
instruments for, on behalf of, and in the name of the City to fully
and completely guarantee to the adjacent and abutting property
owner or owners his or their legal rights in connection with the
above vacation of the aforesaid portion of the aforesaid street.
Section 3 . All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with, contrary to or inconsistent with the provisions of this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
® Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
