NN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, REPEALING SEC-
ION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3736 (SECTION 734 OF THE REVISED ORDI-
ANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956) RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE
F NON-INTOXICATING BEER LICENSES, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 3
F ORDINANCE NO. 3736 (ALSO TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 734 OF THE
REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956) RELATING TO
HE SAME SUBJECT.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance NO. 3736 (also known as
ection 734 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, 1956) , be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby enacted one new provision to be
nown as Section 3 of Ordinance No. 3736 (also known as Section
734 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
1956) , regulating the issuance of non-intoxicating beer licenses,
hich shall read as follows:
Section 734 . Application for License.

Each applicant for a license shall apply in writing to
the City Collector for the license which the applicant
desires to be issued, and shall state whether or not appli-
cant desires a license as:
1. Manufacturer
2 . Distributor or wholesaler
3. Retailer for consumption on the premises
4 . Retailer in the original package direct to con-
sumer, but not for resale
and shall state the street address at which the business for
which the license is sought is to be conducted. No license
as required by this ordinance for the sale of non-intoxicating
beer for consumption on the premises where sold shall be
issued until the applicant or applicants therefor shall file
with the City Collector a statement signed by a majority of
the resident property owners owning real property in the
block in which said non-intoxicating beer business is to be
located, waiving any objection to the establishment for the

business for which said license is sought. For the purpose
of this Ordinance, the word "block" shall be construed to
mean a square block as platted in the plat of Jefferson
City.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
