ORDINANCE NO. 9 l�
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8177, THE PARKING AND TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, BY ADDING TWO NEW SECTIONS PROHIBITING VEHICLES FROM
DEPOSITING ON PUBLIC PROPERTY, ROADWAYS, STREETS AND ALLEYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS;
Section 1. Amend Ordinance 8177, The Parking and Traffic
Code of the City of Jefferson, by adding two new sections , to be
known as Sections 7.240 and 7.250, and which will read as follows:
"Section 7.240. It shall be unlawful for any person
to drive or move any vehicles onto any street, roadway
or alley, unless such vehicle is so constructed or
loaded as to prevent its contents from dropping,
sifting, leaking, or otherwise escaping therefrom,
or being blown off.
"Section 7.250. It shall be unlawful to drive or move
any vehicle within the City, the wheels or tires of
which carry onto or deposit onto any public street,
alley or roadway, or in any other public place of the
City, mud, dirt, sticky substances, litter or foreign
matter of any kind."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
