INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMAN ORDINANCE NO. qo AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANC NO. 3736 , RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF NON-INTOXICATING BEER LICENSES, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 13 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3736 (ALSO TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 744 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1956) , RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby enacted a new provision, to be known as Section 13 of Ordinance 3736 (also to be known as Section 744 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Jefferson, ® 1956) , regarding the issuance of non-intoxicating beer licenses, which shall read as follows : "Section 744. Limited permit to sell non-intoxicating beer, who may obtain - time limited. Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Ordinance, a permit for the sale of nonintoxicating beer for consumption can premises where sold, may be issued to any church, school, civic, service, fraternal, veteran, political or charitable club or organization, for the sale of nonintoxicating beer at a picnic, bazaar, fair, or similar gathering. Said permit shall be issued only for the day or days named therein and it shall not authorize the sale of nonintoxicating beer for more than seven (7) days by any said organization as described above in any fiscal year, For each such permit issued, the licensee shall pay to the City Collector the sum of ten ($10.00) dollars . No provision shall prevent any wholesaler or distributor from providing customary storage, cooling or dispensing equipment for use by the holder of the license at such picnic, bazaar, fair, or similar gathering."
