ORDINANCE N0. 9D31
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE REPLAT OF FOX RIDGE SUBDIVISION, A SUBDIVISION
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Sidney E. Fox, Jr. , owner of the real estate
hereinafter described and situated in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, having submitted to the Council for approval of a
plat of said real estate , being located in Jefferson City,
Cole County, Missouri , and more particularly described as
follows :
Lot Nos . 1, 2, 6 , and 7 and part of Gray Fox Terrace
in Fox Ridge Subdivision in the City of Jefferson,
per plat of record in Plat Book 9 , at page 55, Cole
County Recorder' s Office, a subdivision being a part
of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 23, Township 44 N, Range 12 W, and being more
particularly described as follows :
From the southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of
the Northwest Quarter of said Section 23; thence N
40 01 ' 18" W, along the Quarter Section Line, 844. 52
feet to the northerly line of New Missouri State
Route "C" ; thence southwesterly along the northerly
line of said New Missouri State Route "C" , on a curve to th
left , having a radius of 11 , 554. 30 feet , a distance of
33. 28 feet to the west line of a strip of land, 30 . 0
feet wide, previously conveyed to Cole County fo-r- -road-•-
purposes in right-of-way conveyance , dated March 7 ,
1907 , and now known as Old Idlewood Road; thence
N - 40 01 ' 18" W, along the west line of said Old Idle-
wood Road, 202 . 96 feet to the southerly line of Old
Missouri State Route "C"; thence westerly, along the
southerly line of said Old Missouri State Route "C" ,
on the following courses and distances, westerly, on
• curve to the right , having a radius of 440. 30 feet,
• distance of 5. 54 feet; thence S 89° 42' 00" W,
172 . 72 feet; thence westerly, on a curve to the left,
having a radius of 363. 56 feet , a distance of 92 . 75
feet ; thence S 75° 05 ' 00" W, 182 . 00 feet to the
northwest corner of Lot No. 8 of said Fox Ridge Sub-
division, and the point of beginning for this descrip-
tion; thence continuing S 75° 05' 00" W, 359 . 62 feet ;
thence leaving the southerly line of said Old Missouri
State Route "C" , S 39° 18 ' 13" E, 337. 53 feet to the
most westerly corner of Lot No. 3 of said Fox Ridge
Subdivision; thence N 33° 19 ' 57" E, 129. 17 feet to
the westerly line of Gray Fox Terrace; thence north-
westerly along said westerly line on a curve to the
right, having a radius of 95 . 00 feet , a distance of
28. 40 feet; thence N 500 27 ' 32" E, 60 . 00 feet to
the easterly line of Gray Fox Terrace; thence south-
easterly along said easterly line on a curve to the
left having a radius of 35. 00 feet, a distance of
39 .94 feet; thence N 750 05 ' 00" E, along the northerly

line of said Cray Fox Terrace , 96 . 75 feet ; thence
northeasterly along said northerly line , on a curve to
the left , having a radius of 20. 0 feet , a distance of
22 . 56 feet ; thence northeasterly, along said northerly
line , on a curve to the right , having a radius of 50 . 0
feet , a distance of 48 . 0 feet to a point on the southerly
line of said Lot No. 8 ; thence N. 560 59 ' 58" W, along
the southerly line of said Lot No. 8, 72. 55 feet ; thence
S 750 05' 00" W, along the southerly line of said Lot
No. 8 , 50 . 0 feet to the southwesterly corner thereof;
thence N 140 55' 00" W, along the westerly line of said
Lot No. 8 , 100 . 0 feet to the point of beginning. Con-
taining in all , 1 . 76 acres , more or less . Bearings are
magnetic.
Section 2. It appearing that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owner of said Subdivision,
known and referred to as Replat of Fox Ridge Subdivision, that
all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the require-
ments of Chapter 445, Revised Statutes of Missouri , 1949 , and
amendments thereto , entitled "Plats" , have been fully com-
plied with by the aforesaid owner of said Subdivision, and that
in all respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to
plats and subdivisions , have been complied with, NOW THEREFORE:
The plat of land of Sidney E. Fox, Jr. , known and referred
to as. Replat of Fox Ridge Subdivision, lying, being and situate
within the corporate limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri ,
as shown by the said plat hereto attached and made a part of
this Ordinance, is hereby approved and accepted by the City
Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, and. the Mayor of
said City and the City Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri , after its passage and approval of this Ordinance
are given the authority and are hereby directed to endorse
acceptance of said plat thereon and to certify to the approval
of same under the seal of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
