AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING ORDINANC
NO. 8207 , THE PUBLIC OFFENSE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY
ADDING A NEW SECTION, PROHIBITING LITTERING ON PUBLIC AND PRIVATE
PROPERTY.
IBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
` MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend Ordinance No. 8207, The Public Offense
Code of he City of Jefferson, by adding a new Section, to be
known a Section 5. 7, and to read as follows:
"5.7. It shall be unlawful for any person, purposely
or otherwise, to throw or place, or cause to be thrown or
placed, or deposited, on any public street, alley or public
property of any kind or character, or in any stream or body
of water, or on private property of any kind, any garbage,
trash, rubbish of any kind, nature or description, offal,
animal carcass or parts thereof, any unclean water, or
other substances, materials or objects declared to be a
nuisance. "
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
