AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON
BY AMENDING ORDINANCE 8508, BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT
THE INTERSECTION OF U. S. 50 AND COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE IN THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, FROM RS-1 (SINGLE FAMILY) TO C-4 (PLANNED
COMMERCIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN ORDINANCE
8508 RELATING TO REZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED
WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described real property
be rezoned from RS-1 Single Family to C-4 Planned Commercial,
to-wit:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter and part of the Northwest Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 9 , Township
44 North, Range 12 West, in the County of Cole,
Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
From the Southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter
of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 9; thence
northerly along the Quarter Quarter Section Line,
1150. 0 feet to the point of beginning for this
description; thence continuing northerly along
the Quarter Quarter Section Line, 885 feet more
or less to the southerly line of the proposed
Country Club Drive; thence in a southwesterly
direction along and with the southerly line of
Country Club Drive, 1545 feet, more or less to the
Section Line; thence southerly along the Section
Line, 310 feet to a point 1150 feet north of the
southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter of said Section 9; thence
easterly 1417 feet, to the point of beginning.
Containing in all 21 acres, more or less.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
