ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING THE NAME
OF NORTH RIDGE DRIVE TO HUNTLEIGH PLACE.
WHEREAS, THE City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri,
adopted a Resolution on the 7th day of November, 1977, declaring
it necessary to change the name of North Ridge Drive to Huntleigh
Place; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution was published for seven (7)
consecutive days in the Jefferson City News Tribune; and
WHEREAS, within four (4) weeks from the day of the last
publication of said Resolution, a majority of the resident property
owners along that portion of the street did not file with the City
Clerk their written protest against such change of name; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has , by Ordinance, the power to
change the name of streets, in accordance with the Resolution
referred to herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The name of a street known as North Ridge Drive,
in Schellridge South Subdivision, is, and it is hereby changed to
untleigh Place.
Section 2. Upon the passage and approval of this Ordinance,
he City Clerk shall file a certified copy thereof with the
Recorder of Deeds of Cole County, Missouri.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
