AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMEND-
ING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY
AMENDING ORDINANCE 8508, BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED IN CALLAWAY
COUNTY, IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, FROM RU (RURAL) TO M-1 (LIGHT
IINDUSTRIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN ORDINANCE
8508 RELATING TO REZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described real property be re-
zoned from RU (rural) to M-1 (light industrial) to-wit:
Part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9 , Township 44 ,
Range 11, (also known as part of John Shorter Survey No.
2622) in Callaway County, Missouri, and more particularly
described as follows: From the northwest corner of said
Section 9; thence North 850 05' East, along the north
line of Section 9 , 3266. 23 feet to the point of beginning
of this description, said point also being the southerly
line of the Clarence Sundermeyer property; thence con-
tinuing North 850 05' East, along the section line and the
southerly line of the Sundermeyer tract, 934 . 82 feet to
the westerly right-of-way line of the M. K. & T. Railroad;
thence South 44 53' East, along the M. K. & T. Railroad
right-of-way, 1583. 44 feet to a beginning point of a rail-
road curve; thence southeasterly along the right-of-Way
of said railroad, on a curve to the left, 547. 0 feet to
the northeast corner of the Paul and Laura Koch tract;
thence South 840 22' West, along the said Koch tract,
2409. 22 feet to the centerline of Turkey Creek; thence
northerly along the center of Turkey Creek the following
courses and distances: North 60 51' East, 747. 0 feet;
thence North 230 36' East, 210. 0 feet; thence North
190 17 ' West, 417. 0 feet; thence North 490 13' West,
167. 0 feet; thence North 60 50 ' East, 270. 0 feet to the
north line of Section 9 , and the point of beginning. Con-
taining in all, 61. 6 acres, more or less. Subject to
easements of record.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
