ORDINANCE NO. 60 -17
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE.
CITY RELATING TO THE CARE AND EXPENDI-
TURE OF MONEYS RECEIVED FROM THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
ARTICLE 5, CHAPTER 1, DIVISION 1 OF THE
STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. To comply with the provisions of Article 5 of
Chapter 1 of Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code there is
hereby created in the city treasury a special fund to be known as the
"Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund."
SECTION 2. All moneys received by the City from the State
of California under the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code
for the acquisition of real property or interests therein for, or
the construction, maintenance of improvement of streets •r highways
other than state highways shall be paid into said fund.
SECTION 3. All moneys in said fund shall be expended ex-
clusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all of the
provisions of Article 5, Chapter 1, Division 1, of the Streets and
Highway Code.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 12th day of September, 1960, by
the following roll call vote;
AYES: 'Councilmen- Buchan, Dickason, Merritt, Tyrell
& Fitzjohn
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- None

I, William Woolett Jr., City Clerk of the City of Temple
City hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was adopted by the
City Council of the City of Temple City, at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 12th day of September, 1960.
