Onetime nature -remote meeting for the purpose of reviewing the hunting season. b. Chris Miller — Director of Natural Resources L Hunting in the punk horn for bow hunting ii. Bow hunting December 4th through December 23rd, 2023 iii. Only changes added is the area around Well 6 1. Signage posted around Well 6 2. Additional information on Town of Brewster website with maps iv. Motion by Commissioner Brown to move and approve 2023 — 2024 hunting regulations that started on December 4th through December 23rd at 4:43 PM as outlined in the Town of Brewster By -Laws 1. Hob Nob Road Water main break on the night of Halloween 1. The road was cut, material excavated, and the water main was repaired 2. Waiting for paving company to repave the area Safety Management with Marina Brock and Eric St. Pierre sponsored by MIAA i. Competency based training for high hazard work 1. Confined Space Program — look at recommendations to improve current program. a. Idea is to try in Brewster and then roll out to other towns b. Golf and DPW working with the water department WATER COMMISSIONERS DECEMBER 6. ?D"3 d. Red Top Road i. Started work December 5tn Will work for three weeks, take a break during the holidays, and then continue after the new year. e. Notice from the DEP Notice for Non -Compliance for Gross Alpha Gross Alpha — Tested once every nine years. 1. 2001 — was on sampling schedule for 4 out of the 5 wells a. Assuming one of the wells was missing from the sampling schedule, all five wells were tested. b. Well 6 came up again this year and was missed in the 3rd quarter. The sample was taken and there was no detection of Gross Alpha but was still out of the sampling period. c. The water department has been in communication with the DEP. The sample was taken, paperwork has been filled out and mailed to the DEP. d. The water department is currently non-compliant and will have to be posted on the annual Consumer Confidence Report e. Normally the CCR will be published in July but will be done in February and mailed out with the February 1' billing statements. When the Consumer Confidence Report is complete and mailed out with the billing statements then the DEP will change the water department to being compliant. f. Check and balances have been implemented to catch in the future. g. Requested the DEP to group the testing of all the wells together. Well 6 will be bumped up two years and all the wells will be tested together. iii. Two new employees — 1. Dan Keefe and Dan Faye transferred from the DPW 2. Working on Training and Licensing 3. BWD is now fully staffed 7. Assistant Superintendent's Report a. On site on Red Top Road water main installation. 8. Office Manager's Report a. Absent 9. Approval of Meeting Minutes a.
