ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING
AND PERMITTING THE MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT THE USE
OF AVAILABLE FEDERAL AID URBAN PROGRAM FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF
?JEFFERSON IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ACQUIRING OF RIGHT-OF-WAY
IFOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ROUTE 179.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby authorized
nd directed, for and in the name of the City, to authorize and request the
issouri State Highway Department to use available Federal Aid Urban Program
unds for the City of Jefferson in conjunction with the acquisition of right-of-wa
or the construction of Route 179.
SECTION 2. Whereas the City of Jefferson has entered into a
Federal Aid Urban Program agreement with the Missouri State Highway
Commission under Ordinance 8704, and has also entered into an Urban Agree-
ent with the Missouri State Highway Commission for the construction of
Route 179, Job #5-U-179-139, under Ordinance 9127, whereby the City is
} esponsible for payment of required land acquisition, and authorizes the use of
urrently available Federal Aid Urban program funds for said purpose.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from

AND THE RELOCATION OF EXISTING UTILITIES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF ROUTE 179.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION 1 . The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby
authorized and directed, for and in the name of the City, to
execute this document authorizing and permitting the Missouri
State Highway Department the use of available Federal Aid Urban
Program funds for the City of Jefferson in conjunction with the
acquiring of right-of-way and relocation of existing utilities
for the construction of Route 179 .
SECTION 2 . Whereas the City of Jefferson has entered into
a Federal Aid Urban Program agreement with the Missouri State
Highway Commission as per Ordinance #8704 , and whereas the City
of Jefferson has also entered into an Urban Agreement with the
Missouri State Highway Commission for the construction of
Route 179 , Job #5-U-179-139 , as per Ordinance #9127 , whereby
the City is responsible for payment of required land acquisi-
tion, the obtaining of permanent easements and utility reloca-
tion, be it therefore ordained the City approves the use of
currently available Federal Aid Urban program funds for said
purposes .
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval .
