AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY REPEALING SECTION 22-
6 (a) , RELATING TO GROSS RECEIPTS, AMOUNT OF TAX, AND ENACTING A
NEW SECTION 22-6 (a) .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 22-6 (a) , is hereby repealed, and a new
Section 22-6 (a) is enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 22-6. Same -- Amount of tax.
(a) Tax schedule. The cost of a business license for
a merchant and all businesses listed in Section 22-5 shall
be based on the annual gross receipts of the merchant or
other business for the current license year according to the
following schedule:
Gross Receipts License Cost

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
