ORDINANCE NO. 1 �,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY REPEALING SECTION 33-45
(a) , PARAGRAPHS (1) THROUGH (4) , AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 33-
45 (a) , PARAGRAPHS (1) THROUGH (4) .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 33-45 (a) , Paragraphs (1) through (4) is
hereby repealed and a new Section 33-45 (a) , (1) through (4) , is
�. enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 33-45. Same -- Fees; issuance.
(a) Fee Schedule. Upon receipt of an application for
a permit, the director of public works shall compute and
subscribe thereon the estimated cost of the permit from the
following schedule of fees:
(1) On unimproved dirt roadways or on the unimprove
portion of any right-of-way within which an improved roadway
exists, five (54) cents per square foot for any excavation,
with a minimum of Five ($5. 00) Dollars. This cost shall be
added to .any other costs provided for in paragraphs (2) ,
(3) , (4) and (5) of this subsection.
(2) On unimproved loose gravel or crushed stone
roadways, ten (104) cents per square foot for any excavation,
with a minimum of Ten ($10. 00) Dollars.
(3) On improved bituminous roadways, One and
25/100 ($1. 25) Dollars per square foot for any excavation,
with a minimum of Twenty ($20. 00) Dollars.
(4) On improved concrete roadways, One and 50/100
($1.50) Dollars per squre foot for any excavation, with a
minimum of Twenty-Five ($25. 00) Dollars.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
