ORDINANCE NO . 2
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CLERK OF THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH RALPH T. AND MARGARET M. RACKERS TO PURCHASE PROPERTY
FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY ON SEVEN HILLS ROAD.
' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The Mayor and Clerk of the City are hereby
authorized and directed, for and in the name of the City, to
enter into an agreement with Ralph T. and Margaret M. Rackers
to purchase property for right-of-way on Seven Hills Road for
the sum of $6 ,000. 00.
SECTION 2 . The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Jefferson ,
Missouri , are further authorized and directed to execute the
proper documents to purchase said land herein described and
located in Cole County Missouri , to-wit:
Part of Outlot No. 112 , in the City of Jefferson , Missouri ,
more particularly described as follows : From the south-
westerly corner of Qutlot No . 111 ; thence South 23035 '
East, along the westerly line of a tract conveyed to
Charles A. Winston , by deed of record in Book 35 , page
587, Cole County Recorder' s Office, and the extension
thereof, 696 . 76 feet; thence North 75030 ' East, 332 . 33
feet, to the westerly line of Bald Hill Road; thence
South 13023' East, along the westerly line of Bald Hill
Road, 219. 33 feet; thence continuing along said westerly
line, South 16011130"East, 176. 16 feet, to the beginning
point of this description; thence continuing South
16011 ' 30" East, 120 . 00 feet, to the northerly line of
Seven Hills Road; thence South 83059130" West along the
northerly line of Seven Hills Road, 871 . 23 feet, thence
North 5048' West, 30. 00 feet; thence North 78058126" East,
633 .04 feet; thence North 75030 ' East, 221 . 73 feet, to
the point of beginning. Containing 1 . 38 acres , more or
less.
And:
Part of the West half of the Southeast Quarter and part of
the East half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20 ,
Township 44 , Range 11 , Cole County, Missouri , more
particularly described as follows : From the Southeast
corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
of said Section 20 ; thence South 87010130" West, along
the quarter quarter section line, 191 .40 feet; thence
—` North 16000130" West, 662 . 77 feet to the beginning point
of this description; thence North 88008100" East parallel
with the southerly line of Seven Hills Road, 350. 00 feet
more or less to the quarter quarter section line ; thence
North 83044138" East 391 . 99 feet , more or less , to the
northwesterly corner of a tract of land conveyed to
Edwin Goldammer, by deed of record in Book 72 , page 398 ,
Cole County Recorder' s Office; thence South 88008100"
West, along the southerly line of Seven Hills *Road,
750. 75 feet; thence South 16000130" East , 30. 96 feet
more or less to the point of beginning. Containing 0. 37
acres more or less.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
