AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, CHANGING THE PARKING FEES IN THE
CITY GARAGE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend Section 23-127, second paragraph, by
changing the word "twenty-three" to "twenty-five" so that said
paragraph will read as follows:
"Each tenant of a reserved parking space shall pay
twenty-five dollars per month, payable quarterly in advance
on the first day of January, April, July and October to the
parking authority, and thereupon be entitled to a "parkard"
authorizing the holder to use a reserved parking space within
the garage for the quarter in which payment is made. "
Section 2. Amend Section 23-128 by repealing said section an
inserting in lieu thereof a new Section 23-128 to read as follows:
"Each person parking a motor vehicle in the nonreserved
parking spaces within the municipal parking garage shall pay
the sum of twenty cents for the first hour or any fraction
thereof, during which the motor vehicle is parked, fifteen
cents for the second, third, and fourth hours, and ten cents
for each hour or fraction thereof after the fifth hour. "
Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
