N ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE
F THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY AMENDING SECTION 23-44 , RELATING
TO DESIGNATED STOP INTERSECTIONS BY ADDING A NEW ROADWAY TO
SUBPARAGRAPH (b) , OTHER DESIGNATED INTERSECTIONS.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
ISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . Amend Section 23-44, Designated stop intersections
herein the driver of a vehicle on any roadway first named in the
following subsections stop the vehicle as prescribed in Sections
23-42 and 23-43 on the roadway before entering the intersection
with the second roadway named in the same subsections- and then
roceed cautiously, yielding the right-of-way to any pedestrian
within any crosswalk adjacent to the intersections, and to any
vehicle either in the intersection or approaching so closely theret ,
when not required to stop, as to constitute an immediate hazard
by adding the following new roadway under subparagraph (b) Other
specified intersections:
Hutton Lane, before entering Expressview Drive
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
efrom and after its passage and approval.
