AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY AMENDING SECTION 23-44, RELATIN
TO DESIGNATED STOP INTERSECTIONS BY ADDING A NEW ROADWAY TO
SUBPARAGRAPH (b) , OTHER SPECIFIED INTERSECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Amend Section 23-44, Designated stop intersection ,
wherein the driver of a vehicle on any roadway first named in the
following subsections stop the vehicle as prescribed in Sections
23-42 and 23-43 on the roadway before entering the intersection
with the second roadway named in the same subsections and then
proceed cautiously, yielding the right-of-way to any pedestrian
within any crosswalk adjacent to the intersection, and to any
vehicle either in the intersection or approaching so closely thereto,
when not required to stop, as to constitute an immediate hazard
by adding the following new roadways under subparagraph (b) Other
specified intersections:
a) Crest Street, before entering Livingston.
b) Meier Street, before entering Livingston.
c) Castle Street , before entering Livingston.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
