COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairman Simmons, H. Bayer, J. Anderson,
M. Krippel, J. Sobkoviak, W. Schempf.
EX-OFFICIO PRESENT: L. Kelly, R. Russ, J. Myers,
E. Schrader,,Fire Dist. Representative
Chairman Simmons called the meeting to order at 7:41 p.m.. Roll
call was taken. R. Neely, M. Gehrke, A. Arbo, J. Eichelberger,
J. Bostjancic, G. Krahn, and J. Wilson were absent.
There being no additions or corrections, Chairman Simmons declared
the minutes of the March 5, 1988 and April 5, 1988 meetings approved
as presented.
County Case - McKenna Woods, Unit 1, Final Plat
Caton Farm Road, Robert Graham
Mr. Robert Graham was present and stated this plat reflects what
was discussed at previous Plan Commission meetings. He has put in
sidewalks and street lighting. The street lighting will be in
accordance with the Township. They will be aluminum poles versus
concrete as Commonwealth Edison is now promoting the aluminum posts.
This is an 85-acre tract and the preliminary plat calls for 68 lots
with a minimum lot size of 40,000 square feet. Unit 1 has a total
of 29 lots.
Chairman Simmons stated that in looking at the letter received
from the Village Engineer, it seems that all of the engineer's comments
and concerns have been cared for.
Mr. Djerf stated additional storm sewer was brought all the way to
Caton Farm Road to pick up a 12 inch field the on the opposite
side of the road, which was a concern of the farmer to the south of
Caton Farm Road. The lake will be used for detention.
J. Sobkoviak moved to recommend that the Village Board approve the
Final Plat for McKenna Woods, Unit 1. Seconded by J. Anderson.
Roll call vote.
Schempf, yes; Sobkoviak, yes; Krippel, yes; Anderson, yes; Bayer, yes;
Simmons; yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.

Flow-Cdn Industries, Inc.
The Board briefly discussed this property and agreed to table this
to the next meeting, as there was no representative of Flow-Con
present.

J. Sobkoviak moved to table discussion on Case No. 181-041588SP
Flow-Con Industries, Inc. to the next meeting when petitioner can
be present to answer questions. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no.
Motion carried.

REPORT OF THE PLAN COMMISSION
County Case - McKenna Woods Unit 1 - Final Plat
Location: Caton Farm Road
Petitioner: Robert Graham
Request: Requesting approval of Final Plat for McKenna Woods Unit 1.
Discussion:
This is an 85-acre tract. Preliminary Plat calls for 68 lots with
a minimum lot size of 40,000 square feet. There are 29 lots in
Unit 1.
All of the Village Engineer's comments and concerns have been cared
for except item No. 1 involving street lighting, which will be in
accordance with the Township. Commonwealth Edison is now promoting
aluminum posts rather than concrete.

Recommendation:
By a vote of 6 to 0, the Plan Commission recommends that the
Village Board of Trustees approve the Final Plat for McKenna Wood,
Unit 1.
