AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REPEALING SECTION 2-30 RELATING TO
CITY COMMITTEES AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 2-30 IN LIEU THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2-30 Appointment; composition;
officers; enumeration, is hereby repealed and a new Section 2-30,
Appointment; composition; officers; enumeration, enacted in lieu
thereof to read as follows:
(a) At the first regular meeting of the City Council
held after the City Election, or as soon thereafter as
may be practical, the Mayor shall appoint , with the
concurrence of the Council, the following standing
committees and commissions of the City Council as follows
As such, committees and commissions shall consist
of as many members as the Mayor in his discretion shall
appoint , provided that one member of the Council shall
be appointed as representative to various boards and
commissions established herein; provided, further, that
the Airport Commisssion will have as members in addition
to the Council representatives, seven residents of the
City and the Director of Public Works, p.rovided further
that the Committee on Finance and Personnel shall consist
of all members of the Council. The first named member
of the Council shall be the Chairman and the second
named member shall be the Vice-Chairman.

C. Committee on Public Safety and Health
d. Committee on City - State Relations --/
(b) The Mayor, with the concurrence of the Council, may
appoint such additional committees as he in his
discretion deems necessary.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
