ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON MISSOURI, ALLOCATING THE
RECEIPTS FROM THE IMPOSITION OF THE OkE (1%) PER CENT SALES TAX,
THE COLLECTION OF WHICH WAS PROVIDED FOR BY ORDINANCE NO. 8251 OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 8774.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 8774 be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 2. The moneys as received by the City from the
imposition of the one (1%) per cent Sales Tax, the collection of
` which was authorized by Ordinance No. 8251, are hereby allocated
as follows:
General Revenue Fund - - - - - 61%
Lagers Fund - - - - - - - - - 6%
Capital Improvement Fund - - - 30% until a total
amount of $450,000.00 has been received in any
one year. The balance over and above $450,000,00
shall then be deposited in the General Revenue Fund.
Heavy Equipment Fund - - - - - 3% until a total
amount of $40,000.00 has been received in any one
year. The balance over and above $40,000,00 shall
then be deposited in the General Revenue Fund.
Section 3, This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
