Bonelli, D. Gullickset EX-OFFICIO PRESENT: W- Schempf, M. Latta, G. Cline Chairman Simmons called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. Roll call was taken. The minutes of the meeting on February 26, 1985 were approved as read. The agenda of March 12, 1985 was presented and closed. ANNOUNCEMENTS: M. Latta announced that the Village Board had concurred with the Plan Commission for the GoTane sign variance. She also stated that the Village Board did not concur with the Plan Commission for the rezoning of Case #132-12885Z- UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Case #118-3883FP: Graham petition for final plat approval. There is nothing to report at this time and will be continued until next meeting. Pheasant Chase Subdivision: There is nothing to reportat this time and will be continued until next meeting. Zoning Ordinance: Continuation of public hearing. NEW BUSINESS: Case #134-21385AZ: Attorney, Scott Nemanick was present for Frank Parks, Jr., Margaret M. Parks, Richard A. Parks, Dorothy C. Parks, Jeffrey A. Dement, Carolyn Dement, owners of the property. He was requesting re- zoning of the proper-by located at 310 Roberts Avenue. Initial use of the property would be additional parking for the present shopping center that abuts this property. This additional parking would alleviate traffic conjestion around the shopping center. The property is surrounded by business zoning on three sides and a vacant lot on the fourth side. No objectors were present. D. Gullicksen made a motion to recommend to the Village Board that this property be annexed and zoned B-1. J. Anderson seconded the motion. Parks, Richard A. Parks, Dorothy C. Parks, Jeffrey A. Dement, Carolyn Dement, owners of the property are re- questing annexation of said property and(:Iproperty to be zoned B-1. Surrounding Land Use: North: County Business; South: Village B-4; East: County R-1; West: Village B-1 Discussion: Attorney, Scott Nemanick was present for said petitioners requesting rezoning of this property. Initial use of the property would be additional parking for the present shopping center that abuts this property. No objectors were present. Recommendation: By a vote of 5-0, the Plan Commission recommends to the Village Board that they annex this property and zone it B-1.
