AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , ELECTING "BENEFIT
PROGRAM L-3 I*%" IN THE MISSOURI LOCAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
ISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Sectionl\ 1. The City of Jefferson , Missouri, hereby elects
Benefit Program -E lj% in accordance with the provisions of
Section 70.655, SMo, 1978, as amended. The Clerk shall certify ,
this ,election to the Missouri Local Government Employees' Reti'remen
System within ten days hereof. Such election shall be effective on
the 1st day of January, 1980.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be . in full force and
effect from and after November 1, 1979.
