ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMEND-
ING AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY
AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY
REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE 2400 AND 2500
BLOCK OF EAST MCCARTY STREET, FROM RS-2 (SINGLE FAMILY) AND C-2
(GENERAL COMMERCIAL) , TO C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 36
RELATING TO REZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described real estate pro-
•. perty be rezoned from RS-2 (single family) and C-2 (general
commercial) , to C-2 (general commercial) , to-wit:
Part of Private Survey No. 2701, Township 44 N, Range : ll W,
in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows: From the Southwest
corner of Private Survey No. 2701; thence easterly along
the south line of said Private Survey, 2250 links; thence
N 50 18' W, 2339. 57 feet to the most northerly corner of a
tract of land conveyed to Larry V. Brickey, etal, by deed
of record in Book 229, page 375, Cole County Recorder' s
Office, said point being on the southerly line of East
McCarty Street (Old U. S. Route 50) ; and the point of
beginning for this description; thence S 180 08' 50" W,
along the westerly line of said Larry V. Brickey Tract,
192. 47 feet to the southwest corner thereof, said point
being on the northerly line of Lot No. 82 of Landwehr
Hills Subdivision, Section 3, as per plat of record in
Plat Book 7, at pages 74 and 75, Cole County Recorder' s
Office; thence N 77° 04 ' 08" W, along the northerly
line of said Landwehr Hills Subdivision, Section 3, 326. 72
feet; thence S 680 11' 40" W, along the northerly line
of said Landwehr Hills Subdivision, Section 3, 153. 50 feet
to the southeast corner of a tract of land as described in
Book 120, at page 527, Cole County Recorder' s Office;
thence N 170 46' 51" E, along the east line of said tract,
320. 01 feet to the southerly line of east McCarty Street;
thence S 710 59' 11" E, along the southerly line of East
McCarty Street, 404. 35 feet; thence easterly along said
southerly line, on a curve to the right, having a radius
of 2815. 00 feet, a distance of 40. 74 feet to the point of
beginning. Containing in all, 2.29 acres. Bearings are
magnetic.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
