AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , REVISING THE CODE i
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY AMENDING SECTION 23-119 RELATING)
TO COLLECTION OF DELINQUENT PAYMENT ON PARKING CITATIONS AND/OR
FINES TO MUNICIPAL COURT BY ADDING A SUBSECTION NUMBERED "23-119. 1':
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Section 23-119 is hereby amended by adding
a paragraph numbered "23-119. 1" to read as .follows:
Section 23-119. 1. It is hereby declared to be
40. unlawful to park a vehicle on a city street, lot, or
municipal parking garage when payment of delinquent
parking citations and/or fines is owed to Municipal
Court. The Parking and Traffic Authority is empowered
to use a "wheel immobilizer" on such vehicle until
all delinquent payments for parking citations and/or
fines have been made to the Municipal Court of the
City of Jefferson.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
