ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON 1978, BY REPEALING ORDINANCE 9326 AND
SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 913, AND ANY OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, RELATING TO NON-RESERVED PARKING
RATES AT THE MUNICIPAL GARAGE, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 23-128,
RELATING TO THE SAME SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 9326 and Section 2 of Ordinance
9213, and any other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith, relating to non-reserved parking rates at the Municipal
Garage, are hereby repealed, and a new Section 23-128, relating
to the same subject, enacted in lieu thereof, to read as follows:
"Section 23-128, Nonreserved parking.
"Each person parking a motor vehicle in the
nonreserved parking spaces within the Municipal Garage
shall pay the sum of twenty (.20) cents for the first
hour or any fraction thereof during which the motor
vehicle is parked, and fifteen (.15) cents for each
hour or fraction thereof through the eighth hour, and
ten (.10) cents for each hour or fraction of an hour
thereafter to a maximum of two ($2.00) dollars for
each twenty-four (24) hour period."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
