AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY ADOPTION OF A NEW FIRE
PREVENTION CODE UNDER SECTION 17-11.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson, 1978, is
!hereby amended by adopting a new Fire Prevention Code under
(Section 17-11 as follows:
Section 17-11. Adoption. For the purpose of
prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous
to life and property from fire or explosion, that
t certain Code known as "The BOCA Basic Fire Prevention
Code/197811 , and subsequent amendments and revisions
and replacement codes thereto, which Code is filed in
the Office of the City Clerk, is hereby adopted as
the Fire Prevention Code of the City and shall be
controlling within the City limits.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
