Honorable Mayor and Members
of the City Council
City of Jefferson

Jefferson City, Missouri 65101
Gentlemen:
At your request, we are writing to confirm fee arrangements agreed upon at
the City Council meeting of March 24, 1980 and resulting from our proposal
for audits of the Sewer and Firemen's Pension Funds and accounting and
internal control systems design and implementation assistance.
AllbAs agreed, our work will be performed at the rate of $30 per hour plus
®stenographic and out-of-pocket expenses. We anticipate the City will pro-
v.+..de most of the stenographic work and that these expenses will be minimal.
Concerning out-of-pocket expenses, it is our policy to be reimbursed for
actual motel charges, per diem at the rate of $17 per day. per person and
mileage at the rate of 18.5 cents per mile.
We have further agreed to report to the Mayor and City Council at approxi-
mately two-week intervals, or as desired by the City Council, in order that
the Council can monitor the program and expand, limit or terminate the
scope of our work as deemed appropriate.
If you desire further information concerning this or any other matter,
please advise.
Very truly yours,
PEAT, MARWICK, MITCHELL & CO.
