WN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE
F THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY AMENDING SECTION 36-44 BY
DDING A SENTENCE TO THE END OF SAID SECTION RELATING TO THE
OARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT.
E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
ISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson is hereby
amended by amending Section 36-44 relating to the Board of Zoning
,Adjustment by adding a sentence to the end of said section to
, read as follows:
All testimony, objections thereto and rulings
thereon shall be taken down by a recorder employed
by the Board for that purpose.
so that said Section reads in full as follows:
The Board of Zoning Adjustment shall organize and
adopt rules in accordance with the provisions of this
Chapter. Meetings of the Board shall be held at the
jcall of the Chairman and at such times as the Board may
determine. The Chairman, or in his absence the acting
Chairman, may administer oaths, and the Board may
I�I compel the attendance of witnessess. All meetings of
I the Board shall be open to the public. All business
of the Board shall be transacted at such meetings.
The Board shall keep minutes of its proceedings
showing the vote of each member upon each question
or, if absent or failing to vote, indicating such
fact, and shall keep records of its examinations and
other official actions, all of which shall be immediate)
filed in the office of the City Clerk and shall be
a public record. All testimony, objections thereto
i and rulings thereon shall be taken down by a recorder
I employed by the Board for that purpose.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
