AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE CODE

OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY REPEALING SECTION 3( 1) OF
i `. ORDINANCE 8718 WHICH ESTABLISHED A 5-YEAR TIME LIMIT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A PROPOSED MISSOURI NATIONAL GUARD AVIATION SUPPORT
FACILITY ANr ENACTING A NEW SECTION 3(1) IN LIEU THEREOF WHICH
M, . ESTABLISHES AN 8-YEAR TIME LIMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SAID FACILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
{ Section 1. The Code of the City of Jefferson, 1978, is
` hereby amended by repealing Section 3(1) of Ordinance 8718 which
rj ( established a 5-year time limit for the construction of a proposed
Missouri National Guard Aviation Support Facility and enacting a
new Section 3(1) in lieu thereof to read as follows:
Section 8 (.1) . The conveyance of this real property is
subject to the condition that the State expressly agrees for
itself, its successors and assigns, that the real porperty herein
conveyed is to be used for the construction thereon of a National
Guard Aviation Support Facility and if said facility is not
constructed upon 'the property herein conveyed within eight (8)
ilyears of the date of this conveyance the real property hereinbefor
+' conveyed shall be conveyed by the State, subject to the approval
I and authorization of the General Assembly, its successors and
Ilassigns to the City of Jefferson, Missouri.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
