AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 19789 BY REPEALING SECTION 17-19, AND
ENACTING A NEW SECTION IN LIEU THEREOF9 RELATING TO COMPOSITION OF
a THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 17-19 of the Code of the City of

Jefferson, 1978, is hereby repealed, and a new section enacted in

lieu thereof, relating to composition of the Fire Department, to
read as follows:
"Section 17-19. Composition. The Fire Department of
the City of Jefferson shall consist of sixty-eight (68)
men who shall be classified as follows:

1 Chief
3 Assistant Chiefs
1 Training Officer
1 Chief Fire Inspector
18 Captains
t 24 Drivers
20 Fire Fighters1°
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
