AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 8915 AND THE CONTRACT INCLUDED THEREIN, BY CHANGING
THE AMOUNT OF THE FRANCHISE TAX THEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 8915 and Contract with the
Environmental Sanitation Management, Inc. , included therein, is
hereby amended by changing Section 3 of said Contract by eliminat-
ing the words:
" * * * plus ten ($10.00) dollars for each truck used
by contractor in the transportation of garbage from
the City."
so that said Section 3 of the Contract, as amended, shall read as
follows:
113. Between November 1 and November 10, 1976, and
for each year thereafter during which this franchise
shall remain in effect Contractor shall pay to the
` City Collector fifty (450.00) dollars, as an Occupa-
tion Tax, to engage in business, pursuant to this
franchise."
Section 2. The signature of the Contractor on this Ordinance
shall be necessary before the same becomes effective.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval and the
signature of the Contractor being affixed thereto.
