AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 83209 REGULATING THE COLLECTION, REMOVAL AND
DISPOSITION OF GARBAGE, TRASH AND RUBBISH AND OTHER RELATED
MATTERS, BY CHANGING THE AMOUNT OF ANNUAL OCCUPATION TAX.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. Ordinance No. 8320, Section 20. 700, relating to
the licensing of collectors of garbage, trash and rubbish and
other related matters, is hereby amended by deleting said Section,
particularly the words :
annual occupation tax in. the amount of $15.00
plus $10.00 for each vehicle used in such business
to, and obtaining from, the city collector a license
to engage in such business."
so that said Section 20.700, as amended, will read as follows :
"Section 20. 700. Licensed Collectors. No person,
other than the authorized contractor, shall collect,
transport, remove or dispose of the trash of any
bthes:.petson without first paying an annual occupation
tax in the amount of $25.00 to engage in such business."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passgge and approval.
