AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING ORDINANCE
` NUMBER 9357, THE SALARY ORDINANCE, BY ADDING AND/OR CHANGING SALARY
RANGES FOR CERTAIN POSITIONS, AND ALSO INCLUDING AUTO ALLOWANCE FOR
THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Ordinance number 9357, the Salary Ordinance,
Section 5, is hereby amended as follows:
(a) Under the following headings the minimum and maximum
salary ranges, added or changed, shall -read as
follows:
MINIMUM ANNUAL MAXIMUM ANNUAL
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Administrative Secretary $ 10, 120. 00 $ 14, 194.00
PUBLIC WORKS - ENGINEERING
Administrative Secretary 10, 120. 00 14, 194.00
PLANNING AND CODE ENFORCEMENT
Administrative Secretary 10, 120. 00 14, 194.00
(b) A new heading shall-be added to Section 5 to read
as follows:
t CITY ADMINISTRATOR
Administrative Secretary 10, 120. 00 14, 194. 00
(c) Under the heading of FINANCE DEPARTMENT the following
positions and pay ranges are established:
Purchasing Officer 17,000.00 23,800.00
Senior Accountant 16,000. 00 21,000.00
Administrative Secretary 10, 120.00 14, 194.00
Section 2. Under Section 6 of Ordinance 9357 entitled Auto
Allowance for Appointive Employees, the following addition shall
be made for monthly allowance:
City Administrator, $125. 00
Section 3. The provision for the auto allowance of City
� . Administrator will become effective July 1, 1980.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective from and
after the date of its passage and approval with the exception of
the provision of Section 3 of this Ordinance.
