AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CLERK OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , TO EXECUTE ALL
NECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO VACATE TO THE STATE OF MISSOURI THE ALLEY
WHICH RUNS EAST AND WEST AND BOUNDED BY HIGH, BROADWAY, McCARTY
AND MULBERRY STREETS, THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED TRUMAN OFFICE
BUILDING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Jefferson
Ap are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed, vacating the
following described rpoperty to the State of Missouri, to-wit :
All that part of the east-west alley between
Mulberry Street and 'Broadway Street that is bounded
on the north by Inlots 444 thru 447, and on the
south by Inlots 448 thru 451, in the City of Jefferson,
County of Cole, Missouri. .
Section 2. The execution and recording of this dead is
contingent upon the actual construction of the Truman Office
Building. If the building is. not constructed, this deed shall
not be executed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.

Please find attached the legal description of the East-West
alley which is to be vacated for the construction of the
Truman Building. We have also attached a small sketch for
your convenience.
Per our previous discussions , we are assuming that owner-
