AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, 1978, BY ADDING SECTION 11-4 "TRANSIT
SYSTEM FARES" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 11-4 "Transit System Fares" is here-
by added to and made part of the Code of the City of Jefferson,
1978, to read as follows :
Sec . 11-4 . Transit System Fares .
The following shall be the fares to be charged pas-
sen ers for riding the city buses :
a) General fare. The general fare to be charged all
passengers, except those riding by virtue of a Senior
Golden Pass and those riding under other provisions of
this section, shall be 25� .
(b) Children under age six. Children under the age
of six years accompanied by a paying passenger shall ;
ride free of charge.
(c) Special student discount booklet . Any child en-
rolled in any elementary, junior high or senior high
school in Jefferson City shall be eligible to purchase
a special student discount booklet entitling the student
to 20 rides for a cost of $4 .00. Student discount book-
let tickets shall be honored only on school days between
the hours of 7 :00 a.m. and 4 :00 p.m.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
